The occasional ramblings of a historical wargamer
Just a quick post today to highlight the last of the artillery units for Second Division, Captain Dupré's 9th Battery, 5th Regiment of mitrailleuse.
Super work, Mark!
Thanks Jonathan. They are a nice set.
Great work again Mark. I really like the gun barrels which make them look like they have been in the field.
Thanks Lawrence. I always weather the gun barrels with a couple of washes - usually one of Aly's Brown Liquid then one of Nuln Oil.
Impressive stuff once again Mark.
Thanks Keith. One more mitrailleuse battery to go...
Nice one Mark…As it was so secret I hope you built it without instructions… you wouldn’t want the Prussians or anyone else finding out how it works…All the best. Aly
I did have instructions, but I ate them afterwards...quite tasty with a bit of Tabasco sauce. I also made sure that the assembly area was out of line of sight of the various trays of Prussians.
These excellent units keep on coming!
Thanks Joe...there is an avalanche coming...
Very nice!
Thanks Steve.
Great looking addition to your French firepower!Best Iain
I have a feeling they are going to need all they can muster!
