Paraguayan War Artillery

Yesterday I finished the first of three Paraguayan and two Brazilian field guns.

Once the field artillery is completed I will move onto the Paraguayan heavy fortress guns.

  1. Very nice Mark, makes a change to see you posting some "unclassified" painting after all your redacted medieval stuff!

    1. Yes there will be a number of different items coming off the painting table in coming weeks.

  2. Good looking battery, quite the increase in tube count you have coming! Your commanders must be plotting big offensives.

    1. They certainly are a nice set. The other set, sighting the gun, are equally nice.

  4. These look great Mark. Great paint jobs on some lovely models. I'm really looking forward to the heavy fortress guns and gained a much better appreciation of siege and fortress artillery from some of my Peninsular War readings over the past ten years.

    1. Thanks Lawrence I am just basing the first of the Brazilian gun sets now. For the fortress guns I found this site (https://www.speira.net/shop/). They have a nice looking bunch of 3D printed artillery that looks as though it will do the business.

    1. They are! And that red, but simple, uniform really makes them pop.
