The occasional ramblings of a historical wargamer
Riding out from the uniform store today are three mounted officers from the Brazilian army.
These three are the first of two sets of mounted officers for the South American conflict and will be joined by three Argentinians shortly.
They certainly cut a dash Mark…Lovely animation…All the best. Aly
Thanks Aly. The Argentine boys have lush dash and more panache…a heal haughtiness to them.
I just love the first one Mark with his poncho (?) nonchalantly thrown over his shoulder! Looking forward to seeing the Argentinians:)
Yes he is rather nice isn’t he. The Argentine lads are very nice too.
Quite the big men.Looking good Mark.CheersStu
Indeed they are - the house had to be tough in those days.
Great looking command figures.
Thanks Mark.
Great stuff Mark. They look very smart indeed.
Thanks Lawrence. I really like the one with the raised sword.
If you are on senior officers Mark, this project must be nearing completion? They look great by the way - lovely sculpting by Messrs Perry!
Yes very close. I will do three units of Uruguayan infantry plus some officers and then just have to wait for the Argentine artillery and the Paraguayan officers to be released. This may all be done by year’s end.
