I was wondering who would notice! It is intended to be the 7th foot. The colours are temporary…a blue one is coming…the limitations of lockdown and all that.
This is what happens when we go into lockdown and I can’t go anywhere - in the last two weeks I have only left the house for our daily walk around the local park and to the supermarket once. We have a minimum of another two week to run with this so you will most likely see some more production line outputs in that time.
Thanks Aly. This is one of those butterfly projects and the schedule …yes there is a schedule…has the completion of those five battalions is mid-October, so there is a chance for you there…
I have used GMB, but on this occasion I am using scans from the Perry information sheets. However, their sheet does not have a blue variant so I need to do some PhotoShop re-colouring and I don’t have access to a colour laser at the moment due to lockdown - that is now extended a further two weeks so the issue of the flag is further delayed.
Nice work Mark - what regiment is this? Seems unusual that it has blue facings when the regimental colour is green - or is it just a generic unit?

DeleteA most excellent looking regiment! The Perry Plastic figures do look very good.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark. They are really nice figures to work with and I like that “at the trail” pose.
DeleteAt Eutaw Springs the Maryland and Virginia continental went into battle at trail arms.
DeleteAnd in pure practical gaming terms they are better because the bayonets are less vulnerable to breakages, plus they are easier to store.
DeleteYour painting productivity suggests your work IS on a conveyor belt! Great job on the Redcoats.

DeleteVery well done, Mark. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteThank you Michael.
DeleteVery nice Mark…
ReplyDeleteFive battalions would be a lot of work for the likes of me… I imagine you will have them finished in no time at all 😁
All the best. Aly

DeleteNice work Mark, and well-spotted by Keith. Where do you get your flags from - are they GMB?
