The occasional ramblings of a historical wargamer
Following on from the last post in the Paraguayan artillery, a Brazilian gun has been rolled out of the Arsenal by its crew.
This set has the crew firing an Armstrong gun.
A second crew loading an Armstrong is in the queue for next week.
This is a great looking artillery stand!
Thanks Jonathan…there a few more gun sets to come.
So cool, & such clever basing.
Thanks. I work in the assumption that a good basing job covers up a multitude of painting sins!
Very nice Mark:). I like the fact that you've included some wheel ruts on the base, which is a nice touch.
Thanks Steve…for the next set I must try to remember to include a trait scrape!
Another nice little group of gunners Mark.
Thanks Keith. Nice to work on something so simple for a change.
Lovely work. The figure wiping his brow is a great pose. You can almost feel the South American heat.
Yes it is a lovely set. I have just finished another Paraguayan gun crew that will be based this afternoon.
Very nice indeed Mark…The more workman looking uniforms make for a good contrast with the red of the Paraguayan crew. All the best. Aly
Thanks Aly. The next set will be in tropical kit, I think.
Looking good Mark.CheersStu
Thanks Stu.
