With this unit of Chevauxleger, the 6th Regiment, my Bavarian army is completed - at least until I decide to add another division.
There will be a parade at some point soon.
Also based up today is the AWI gun set that I mentioned in yesterday’s post.
Cracking job on this dynamic and beautiful cavalry!
ReplyDeleteThank you Phil and bonne année to you!
DeleteThey look very smart. I’m looking forward to the parade and the “final” headcount, for now at least.
ReplyDeleteThey do don’t they? Probably won’t increase the Bavarians as it is quite a self contained force.
DeleteYou are a painting machine! Excellent work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jonathan. The machine is shut down for the year now.
DeleteGreat looking additions Mark
ReplyDeleteThanks Keith. Are you coming the the game on the 12th?
DeleteBeautiful cavalry unit, and congratulations on 'finishing' the Bavarians. I think the artillery piece and crew are rather well done and hopefully grace your table soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I have always wanted to do a Bavarian army, and now I have!
DeleteGreat work Mark. Nicely timed to get them finished by the end of the year!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nathan. I have also finished the painting of the last of the AWI British project too, just need to complete the basing.
DeleteI am not sure what you mean by the words ‘complete’ and ‘finished’ they are strange words and I find them a bit upsetting.... next thing we know you will be using... ‘enough’
ReplyDeleteSplendid stuff as alway...
I am looking forward to the parade.
All the best. Aly
I must admit that I have considerable trouble typing “finished” or “complete” because the auto-correct constantly inserts the wording to “nowhere near...”. And regrettably “enough” may have to enter the vocabulary as storage space is running out...but I have a cunning plan there...
