The Last of the Bavarian Infantry

At last the final three Bavarian infantry battalions have exited the basing table where they have been lingering for the better part of three weeks.

There are:

2/6th Line Infantry Regiment

13th (Innsbruck) Nationalmilitz battalion

14th (AnspachNationalmilitz battalion

Only five items to go in this collection now: Two regiments of Chevaux Leger, two gun sets and a set of brigadiers.

    1. Thank you Phil. That Cornflower Blue is a great colour to work with.

    1. Thank you Jonathan. It will be quite a modest force for me of fourteen infantry battalions, two cavalry regiments, three gun and limber sets and nine mounted officers.

  3. It’s going to be a fine looking army...
There of course needs to be a parade...

    All the best. Aly

    1. Thanks Aly. The Bavarians always look smart, I find. I certainly hope that a parade can be arranged...might depend on the granting of appropriate planning permission (i.e. space being made available) which is no easy task at this time of year.

  4. Nice work, and fourteen battalions is a sizeable and useful contingent.

    1. That divisional size is about right I reckon. This may be my standard from now on...well for a whole anyway...I am sure my megalomania will return at some point.
