The items presented here complete the transport theme started a few posts ago.
A commandeered Russian wagon in French service drawn by donkey and with two stragglers hitching a ride
A British Peninsular caisson
A Prussian two horse ammunition wagon.
The fourth transport item is aa AWI limber and gun for an artillery set whose crew are being uniformed at this very moment.
Nice job on all of these Mark ...I particularly like the Russian wagon
ReplyDeleteYes it is a nice piece, but more difficult than you might think to paint - getting definition on all that baggage was no simple task.
DeleteAmazing the number of rolling stock you are churning out. Impressive!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jonathan. I have a couple more wagons to add at some point in the New Year.
DeleteGreat work on all these Mark. Wagons and equipment really provide an additional dimension to the gaming table.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I have always liked seeing wagons on a table and chasing them gives the cossacks and British light cavalry something to do. In our ECW games the baggage plays a key role and any victorious cavalry must attack it if they are in line of sight.
