More British AWI

Yesterday saw the completion of the third unit in my British AWI expansion. This time it is the 17th Leicestershire Regiment.

Still to come are the 5th, 28th 38th and 54th Foot, followed by some Hessians.

  1. Very business like in appearance. Would be glad to have the stonewall in between me & them.

    1. Here’s hoping they live up to their appearance when they make it to the games table.

    2. Excellent but the 17th Foot is the Leicestershire Regiment not Lancashire.

  2. Another nice looking British unit Mark - let hope we can get them into battle sooner rather than later!

    1. Sadly I can see this thing dragging and it being another month at least before we can get back to face to face gaming.

    1. Thanks Jonathan. It is shaping to be a decent sized collection now…not bad for a project that was intended to fill a gap in other’s collections.

  4. Again, great results on the whites. The command figure has a great pose and facial expression.

    1. Thanks No4m, yes he is a nice figure with a graceful pose. I wanted to give him a pistol, but couldn’t find one in my box of plastic bits…I am sure I have one somewhere.

  5. Very nice Mark…
White faced units are particularly attractive with their simple colour scheme.

    All the best. Aly

    1. Thanks Aly. I like the white facings and the flag, but I have stuck with yellow and green facings for the remaining units.

  6. I think this is your best one yet Mark, and all the others have been excellent. Great animation and the colours look terrific.
