Yet another British unit has cleared the uniform store and made into to the parade ground. This time it is the 49th Foot.
I have chosen to do this in the advancing pose.
There are just two more battalions of British infantry to go to complete this project. Meanwhile the uniform store is now clogged up with Prussians from 1870.
Another very nice unit Mark:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve.
DeleteGreat work Mark, they look ready for business. I sometimes think advancing poses can sometimes look a little "off" but these look great.
ReplyDeleteThe slight variation of pose gives a different animation to the unit.
DeleteMore nice work Mark - I like this pose better then the trail one I think but of course variety is the spice of life and all that!
ReplyDeleteI have come to prefer the at trail pose. In part because they are easier to store in their trays but also are less prone to damage from ham fisted gamers picking them up! That said I will probably do the remaining two battalions in the advancing pose.
DeleteVery nice Mark…
ReplyDeleteCertainly a determined looking bunch…
All the best. Aly
Thanks Aly. They are certainly not what you would call a handsome bunch.
DeleteSplendid looking troops,I agree with Keith that advancing poses for this period can look at little odd but these look great and I really like the green facings!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thanks Iain, I do prefer them in the ‘at the trail’ pose, but I felt I needed some variety!
DeleteA most impressive regiment.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark. Two regiments to go.
DeleteFine brush word Mark.
ReplyDeleteCheers
