Today’s show and tell features a unit of lancers from Brazil, the second cavalry unit from Brazil in this collection - there will be one more in due course.
I have done these boys in white tropical trousers to provide some contrast to what is quite a dull uniform otherwise.
Next up is the first of the Argentine cavalry units.
The Brazilians do seem to be less flamboyant than one might expect, given its mid/late 19th century.....and its S America!
ReplyDeleteI guess in due course we will find out how they fight!
DeleteThey look great! These armies are coming along fast, I'm looking forward to when you do a game with them.
ReplyDeleteCertainly are coming along. I seem to be keeping up with the rate at which the Perrys are releasing them.
DeleteAnother lovely unit Mark:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve.
DeleteNice work Mark, and those lance pennons look great and also liven up the uniform.
ReplyDeleteIt is a strange thing with all the figures in this range...they all seem quite bland when working on them, and then at the very end there is one touch that just gives then life.
DeleteReally tempted by this range and you turning these units beautifully doesn't help ! :)
ReplyDeleteGo on...you know you want to and you may encourage Mr Perry to increase his output as a result!
DeleteLooking good Mark. Determined looking troopers there.
ReplyDeleteRegards, James
Thanks James, determined indeed.
DeleteSplendid stuff Mark...
ReplyDeleteI think at this pace your are going to have enough toys for a game before young master Perry...
All the best. Aly
Oddly, I was thinking of starting a new project while waiting for new codes...and lo and behold six new codes were released!
DeleteGreat job Mark, I see the Perry's are rushing to keep up with you now :-)
ReplyDeleteCheers
Stu
Thanks Stu. Yes I see those extra codes...I feel a stirring in my wallet!
DeleteSplendid looking Lancers!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
They are aren’t they...I think it is the white pants that makes them stand out.
