The two foot battalions are in different poses than the first few. One is in the advancing pose.
The Second one is in the firing line poses.
Finally the guard foot artillery set in the firing pose.
All that remains in the guard now is the regiment of Chasseurs à Cheval of the guard and a set of three generals.
Very nice indeed Mark, and I especially like the figure holding the fanion. Was that precast, or did you add it yourself?
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence. Yes the fanion is pre-cast.
DeleteNice to see such units . No doubt they will be getting hit and doling punishment out soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Joe. Yes I have plans to see these boys on the table before too long.
DeleteNice work
ReplyDeleteThank you Neil
DeleteExcellent work yet again Mark!
ReplyDeleteIn all fairness these guards were pretty easy to work on, being in greatcoat.its the guns and the cavalry that will provide the colour to this little command.
DeleteGreat looking troops. nice job! 😁
ReplyDeleteThanks Stew, now let's see how they perform!
DeleteThey look great Mark, I particularly like the firing line unit. I assume the gun and crew are from your favourite twins?

DeleteI just wish that there were a few more poses for the firing line - there are really only three (although I have managed to create another one with a bit of scalpel work). Yes the gun set is Alan Perry's work. I am half way through the Chasseurs à Cheval now, then there is just three generals to go and my work on the guards will be completed.
Lovely work Mark…
ReplyDeleteYou have fairly dashed through these… I think it has taken me the same time to undercoat a dozen or so figures 🤣.
All the best. Aly
Thanks Aly...all the figures being in greatcoat and the Olympics on TV has helped with the rapid completion...although when the Ukrainian athlete in the women's high jump competition was jumping, my concentration was seriously impaired.
