These three are the high command for my Austrians.

  2. Lovely work… yet again…Mark.
The guys on the outside look like they are both saying…”They are behind us” 😁

    All the best. Aly

    1. Thank Aly…I was thinking he was saying…”are you sure you ordered the strudel?”

  3. They are probably keeping an eye on their "allies", be they Russian or Prussian, to make sure they are not about to be left in the lurch facing Napoleon on their own, again! They are very nice figures Mark and I agree about the red trousers!

    1. Mind you it is probably the Russians and Prussians doubting the Austrians, given that they spend most of 1813 sitting on the fence. Years ago in Venice our water taxi driver looked rather smart in his red trousers, but I was never game to try!

  4. Maybe I hope they're bringing the coffee? They certainly look swell.

  5. A wonderful little command group - perhaps they are discussing surrendering to the French?

  6. Lovely work Mark. I thought that was Archduke Charles and a quick check of the Perry page confirmed it is. I always thought he tried his best and did quite well considering what he had to work with and was up against.

    1. Yes I know they were the earlier grouping, but since they don’t make any other generals they have to do.

  7. Nice. They kinda look like they’re having a conversation. At least one command figure has the requisite pointing off to somewhere. 😀
