The French in Egypt expansion project (the unkind would call it scope creep), has required another batch of Generals.
This group of six generals includes an army command group, with three mounted figures:
A divisional command group of two mounted figures:
And a single Brigadier:
Another batch of nice looking figures Mark - with the customary wonderful basing technique to really finish them off!
ReplyDeleteThanks Keith. There is quite a range of stuff rollong theough the painting tray at present.
DeleteSome great additions Mark.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Stu
Thank you Stu.
DeleteA handsome half dozen French officers, Mark! Does the appearance of such a group suggest the project is nearing its completion?
ReplyDeleteThank you Jonathan. You are indeed correct the project is nearing completion. I have two small items on the basing stand at the moment. The final demi-brigade, the 9th, is in the uniform store now and will be passing out on Monday or Tuesday. The only thing I will add to this collection in the future will be the camel ambulance set - which I class as a vignette rather than an expension.
DeleteLovely looking French command, scope creep? Never!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thank you Iain. I mus say that I prefer the term "stretched goals" to scope creep...
Delete"Stretched goals" yeah, that's it!
DeleteI am a little less keen on that term now, since I was passed a bunch of stretch goals in the real world today!
DeleteNice one Mark...
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that they all look grumpy and argumentative...
All the best. Aly
Thanks Aly. You are right about their grumpiness...maybe the are missing the fois gras and escargots of thier homelsnd and forced to eat bowls of dates and too much falafel and hummus.
DeleteGreat work, and these figures really are full of character.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence. Getting close to the end of the project now. I will base up the 6 horse limber today and the last of the infantry figures will be done Monday.
