Gunfighter's Ball

Today's game was a gunfight game using  Gunfighter's Ball rules. The figures, buildings and game set up were all the work of our friend Rick.

In the game the Earp brothers and Doc Holiday, assisted by a couple of other lawmen, took on the Clantons, while a strange man called Mysterious Dave and his hired gunman approached from the other of town with ill intent.

I don't remember all the details, but I do know that:
  • Doc Holiday died
  • Wyatt Earp killed Mysterious Dave and his hired gunman
  • Most of the Clantons were killed or seriously wounded.
And the photos...in no particular order (comments where applicable).

  2. A great change of pace, and something I'd like to give a go. The terrain and figures all look great. I have a few MDF buildings for 15mm WWII but always think that MDF is made for Wild West scenarios.

    1. He has a great collection and all the building are fully painted inside and often there are additional features therein - like the saloon with the bar, the barman, the card player and the floosies.

    1. The set up was superb. There were a few things that did not appear, but we have used in other games.

  7. Some great pics there Mark. Ellen The Lady did not appear in game two, of course, given it was (ahem) a " historical " scenario, and Rick didnt want ladles involved! Shadowforge actually do three or four Earp "sisters"....maybe I should add them to my collection , just for the fun of getting a reaction from Rick?! 😀

    1. Yes I knew she was in the dry run game, but it is such a good image I had to leave it in.
