That looks impressive, both the individual battalion and the assembled regiment. A bit of basing sounds like a good way to get over a bit of jet lag Mark.
They do look good en masse...I didn't suffer from jet lag this time. I had a good six hours sleep on the plane. We arrived in at 5:15 am and I managed to stay awake until 8:30 that night, had a good sleep and was at work at 6:30 the next day. No problem since.
Those all look extremely impressive when all grouped together at the end like that. And a large group of miniatures is WAY more interesting than trees. 😀😀
Figures have to take a bit of a back seat for a while...the lead pile if flattened and restocks are not expected for a few weeks. I agree that the massed battalions here a significant visual impact.
More great looking Austrians, Mark
ReplyDeleteThanks Keith. That is the last of the infantry, just a hussar unit to go.
DeleteGosh those are nice and the red trim works a treat:).
ReplyDeleteIt was a toss up between red or light blue facings...I'm glad I went with red.

I do like a good group of trees though.
DeleteA return to painted miniatures in style Mark…
ReplyDeleteThe whole regiment looks very impressive.
All the best. Aly

DeleteSplendid work, Mark! You picked up with your continued prodigious output exactly where you left off before your Canadian Adventures.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jonathan. The production rate is going to fall back for a few weeks since the lead pile is currently flattened.
DeleteGreat looking Austrians Mark, I love the massed poses.
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris.
DeleteSplendid looking Austrians!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
