With these two units of Aztecs (one of knights and one of warriors) the basing tray only contains one more group of figures to be finished.
The Aztec project will continue, but probably not until much later in the year , while I focus on the Franco-Prussians and AWI Americans.
I like the basing! Figures look fab too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jonathan. I now need to think about how I am going to base the conquistadors…when I buy them.
DeleteLovely work again Mark. The basing does look as though they are making their way through some heavy undergrowth. Very effective.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence. They have been sitting on the basing tray for the better part of three weeks while I decided how to finish them!
DeleteI agree with Jon, Mark....I really like these Aztec warriors!
ReplyDeleteYes I am seeing where the next batch can fit into the schedule!
DeleteSuperb figures there Mark, with lovely basing that all blends nicely into the background shot:).
ReplyDeleteA good thing I didn’t use the original shots that I had erroneously used an I used an image of a French village!
DeleteLovely looking Aztecs Mark…
ReplyDeleteA very colourful and tempting period… will we be seeing a pyramid rising from the jungle….
All the best. Aly
Thanks Aly. Yes the initial sketches for pyramids and temples have been made and materials are being gathered. I think sometime in August or September the first “foundation stone” will be laid.
