Clearing the Basing Tray

I have have a bit or  a backlog of units on the basing tray so there has been a concerted effort to clear it, hense the show here are parts of two diverse projects.

First, I have completed the next two batches of the Aztecs.

There is a unit of hand to hand troops armed with spears and maquahuitl.

The second is a unit of missile troops, with mixed bows, slings and javelins.

The week also sees the basing of Third or Fusilier Battalion, Infantry Regiment Number 53. This completes this regiment.

    1. Thanks Keith. They are really simple to do…for most of them it half a dozen or less colours.

  4. Great work all round. I especially like the skin tone you have used for the Aztecs. Lovely stuff.

    1. Thanks Lawrence. The tone is a simple mix of flesh and red oxide that is then washed with GW Seraphim Sepia.

  5. Two fabulous looking units. As Lawrence said, the skin tone of the Aztecs is very effective. The Prussians look great, and the flag is very tasty. Bravo.

    1. Thank you Michael. The flag is simply a photocopy of the flags provided with the Perry figures.
