My ACW odyssey continues. This week sees a Union regiment added...
...and a rather well dressed Virginia regiment that I based on the VMI cadets from the Battle of Newmarket that inspired me when I watched the movie “Field of Lost Shoes”.
Several more ACW units are in the pile.
Very nice, you are a speed demon! :-) I am liking the single bases.
ReplyDeleteThanks Norm. Actually I have slowed down...and am currently working at half my normal rate! I am still not certain about the basing (which is why they are just tacked to a card base). I need a couple of trial games.
DeleteNice looking pair ACW units! When will you know if your basing works?
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Thanks Iain. i need to get a game going, but I can’t see that happening for another month or two.
DeleteA couple of nice additions Mark...I could do with the VMI boys in our campaign round about now
ReplyDeleteThanks Keith. Yes I will get that campaign move completed today...an interesting turn.
DeleteNice work again Mark. Hopefully it's not too long now before we are all gaming in person again - we have one penciled in for June 16th.
ReplyDeleteNothing scheduled yet. Technically we could go ahead now, but with our host in his 80s I am happy to delay a little longer.
DeleteGood to see the VMI cadets take to the field. Watched the Field of Lost Shoes in the VMI Newmarket museum years ago. Excellent museum.
ReplyDeleteVery jealous of that Jonathan. I never got to the Shenandoah. I did get to the now closed Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond way back in 1978.
DeleteVery nice Mark...
ReplyDeleteI do like the cadets...
There must be a parade happening soon...
All the best. Aly
Thanks Aly. I was thinking of organizing a parade today, but about 3:00 pm I just stopped thinking. It’s a holiday weekend coming up, so maybe there is an opportunity...
