Asturias Regiment

This week sees the three battalions of the Asturias Regiment march out of the uniform store in a brief parade.

These three complete the first phase of the Spanish collection.

Next on the painting table is a return to complete an earlier collection.

    1. Thanks Aly. The parades are coming...the shoes are polished and the band is tuning up, but there is this generously proportioned chap in a red suit with a bunch of reindeer hogging the parade ground. Once he has been cleared away the serious parades will commence.

    1. Thanks Iain. I agree that the bicorne infantry look particularly sharp.

  6. Another fine-looking regiment Mark. I did all my drummers in the Royal livery as well, and think it makes a nice contrast to the white uniforms.

    1. Yes I was in two minds about the drummers, but I am glad I took the path I did.
