Yes I agree, just looking at them makes you just want to reach for a cognac to warm up! They won't suit the Crimea. These where leggings whereas in the Crimea they wore boots, and they wore the greatcoat differently.
Thanks mate. All the infantry is done now. There is a dragoon regiment ready for the painting table next week. Artillery next then some cuirassiers. After that the WWI East Africans and the War of 1812.
These jaegers look so cold! I like that they are wearing forage cap. Do you suppose they could see service in the Crimea mid 19th century?
