The Second Regiment of Voltigeurs

As much as I dislike working with yellow it is a necessity with the Guard Voltigeurs and this is battalion number four of the six I am building - the first of the second regiment.

However, I must admit that the pain of working with yellow has been eased with my adoption of a wet palette. Gone is the problem of paint clagging on the brush that hindered the work on the first three battalions. Working with metallics is also easier.

With the eagle and the drapeau on the command base this will be the regiment's second battalion.

Next up will be s bit of a break from the Guard to complete something needed for next Sunday's game
