East African Railway Station - Part 5

Today I assembled and painted the completed model.

I am really pleased the way the corrugated iron finished up and will I will use the technique with the other four or five buildings needed to complete the project.

  3. Hi Mark,
I'm way behind with your posts unfortunately, so firstly Happy New Year, and secondly what a brilliant station building - that looks really good! Even though it's a relatively simple building, you've really brought out it's character! Looking forward to seeing it in action!
    Regards,
    John

    1. Thanks Jonathan. I have deciced that the platform is too tidy so I am working on some clutter - crates, freight, benches, etc to mess it ip a little. Glad to see you were able to escape the snow for a few days.

    3. Yes I have a number of ideas to be developed here, but the arrival of my first parcel of goodies for the year may have stretched the "coming weeks" to months!
