Russian Church, Part 2

I managed to complete the whole of one side of the church this evening, helped largely by the very warm weather that helps the epoxy putty to set in half its normal cure time.

These shots show the textures that will cover all sides. The windows on the wooden part of the will have some ornate frames and shutters fitted nearer the end of the build.

It is starting to look a little less like a steam locomotive now.

    1. Thanks Stu. In truth it doesn't take me that long. What you see here is about two hours work, in two one hour sessions. I am so familar working with this material now, that once I get a picture in my head of what I want, it comes together pretty quickly.

    1. Thanks Jonathan. This is the quick partand most of the base level will be finished by Saturday. The slow bits will be the fiddly pieces like the roof and the window frames. That said, it will fill in the time nicely until the next order of Crimean War figures arrive!
