East African Plantation House - Part 2

I finally managed to get to a model shop and buy some more corrugated iron sheeting, so that I can finish the model of the Plantation House.

To give the finished model some life I added some climbing plant on the verandah.

And then thee are these fellows.

You will see more of them in the next week or so.

  1. It looks great finished, and that corrugated iron is perfect. The gunboat crew are very nice as well, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of them - they have a lot of character about them.

    1. Thanks Lawrence. The images show the corrugated iron a bit more brown than it is in reality - a fault of the lighting. I have two small outbuildings ti go with this that are under way now. The sailors were lots of fun and so quick to paint. The same company does some German colonial infantry that I think are a must now.

    1. Thanks Stu. I expect it won't be until July at the earliest that these will see tabletop action...The armies are still being built.
