Carlist Cavalry and more

This week has seen the completion of more Carlist War troops. This time it is the first of the mounted figures.

First up is a squadron of Merino's Lancers. These are a great little group of action packed figures.

Second is the first of the mounted personality sets. Here Don Sebastian is flanked by two Carlist colonels.

I now have all of the figures for the Carlist units I intend to build either on hand or enroute.

I am still waiting the the last of the Crimean War figures to arrive. It has been over a month sincethe order was placed and it is not even shipped yet - a far cry from the last order from the Perrys that took a mere 6 days to travel the 18,000 km from Nottingham to Auckland.

    1. Thanks Rodger. These are great figures to work with and even with my limited painting skills they are easy to get good results.

    1. I made the conscious decision to make the squadrons three stands strong, each with three figures, which meant that every figure in the unit is different. I am glad I made that decision.
