More Fellahin

This is the third and final unit of fellahin.

Again these are the easiest figures to paint.

This completes the infantry contingent of my Ottoman army.

    1. Thanks Stuart, but I don't rate their chances in a stand up fight against the French!

  2. Great work again Mark. I'm looking forward to seeing them all assembled and in action against the French. As you say, they probably don't have much chance but they should at least significantly outnumber the French.

    1. It is certainly going to be an interesting game to put together.

  3. As speed bumps go… they are very pretty Mark…
Hopefully the French will waste all their ammunition on them… Then you can send in the cavalry…

    All the best. Aly

    1. Speed bumps are a foul word around here...the Council are building dozens of the damned things for outrageous prices. But you are right I think when I put the game together I will have to introduce something to give the Mamelukes a chance.

  4. They are, I suppose, only one step up from the Fuzzies or Zulus v's Colonial Brits Mark - so, you will need LOTS of them OR some have to employ some recycling in any game you put together?!

    1. While they were trained warriors, I think the real idea was to use them to hold a position while the Mamelukes did the real fighting.

  5. Yes, crap troops as far as battlefield performance but they sure do look colorful and all those flags are great too!
