More Russian Jägers

Last night I finished the second (and final) unit of Russian jägers in winter dress.

Again these are the Perry figures with the addition of an officer from the plastic line infantry command sprue.

I have just another six peasant infantry to do now to complete the Russians in winter dress. They will be finished by the week's end.

  1. These jaegers look so cold! I like that they are wearing forage cap. Do you suppose they could see service in the Crimea mid 19th century?

    1. Yes I agree, just looking at them makes you just want to reach for a cognac to warm up! They won't suit the Crimea. These where leggings whereas in the Crimea they wore boots, and they wore the greatcoat differently.

    1. Thank you Michael. I do like that backdrop...just the right amount of winter shadows.
