Above and below, the 9-pounderThe completion of these sees the lead pile levelled. There are are lots of things or order; three regiments of the Light Brigade, a battalion of British line infantry, a battalion of Rifles, four battalions ofRussian infantry, a battery of Cossack artillery and of figures for a new project that I shall describe at a later date, but annoyingly they are a long time arriving - one of the disadvantages of living 12,000 miles away from the supplier!
Very fine work, Mark! Your CW project is moving along at a rapid clip.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jonathan, but I am feeling a bit hamstrung at present without any Raw material on hand.
DeleteThey're looking great. Your photo stage works really well too! There are times of the year when it seems to take a lot longer for things to deliver to NZ. Christmas is obvious but I'm not too sure why it's happening at the moment. It took about 5 days longer than normal for my last orders to show up.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nathan. The Light Brigade figures were ordered a full six weeks ago. Even back in the late '70s (in the days pre-email) when orders Went by airmail, I would expect a three week turnaround, so six weeks is a bit extreme!
DeleteGreat work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark...just want those other parcels to arrive!
DeleteExcellent job, most impressive infantry!
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil, I am looking forward to doing some more innthe coming months.
DeleteExcellent paintwork Mark!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rodger, the project is really starting to take some shape now. I hope that by the end of this month I can actually play a game with these armies.
DeleteThe collection just goes from strength to strength! Lovely work
ReplyDeleteThanks Russ. I just added some Cossack artillery last night that should be based and photographed during the week.
