I am intending to use a mix of surfaces on some of the other boards and some ingenious swap out sections for fields, farms and the like.

I had a great buy on the felt...her indoors had a discount voucher at a fabric store if The spend was $50 or more and since the felt is $17.99 per metre I figured this was a good deal if I was to buy 3.6 meters - enough for three more boards. When I went to get it I found a roll of the stuff that seemed to have a slightly harder surface and it was only $10.00 per metre, and then on top it was on sale at 40% off. So I bought what was left on the roll that came to 6.3 metres which by using a few offcuts here and there, should cover another 6-8 boards, and her indoors still has her discount voucher.Mark Strachanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05988775093525037168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4202191777127653648.post-69794379306409837882020-01-21T08:34:10.406+13:002020-01-21T08:34:10.406+13:00Splendid work Mark...

If storage was not an issue I would have them all done in a month or two, but the shed I need to empty out part of the garage is a custom build and beyond my skill level. But wargames manufactures can put their minds at ease...I am REDUCING not CEASING collections and if someone was to launch a quality range of 28mm Franco-Austrian War of 1859, all bets will be off.Mark Strachanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05988775093525037168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4202191777127653648.post-23145683446506084482020-01-20T22:38:44.872+13:002020-01-20T22:38:44.872+13:00Thank you Phil.Thank you Phil.Mark Strachanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05988775093525037168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4202191777127653648.post-36232774682253827972020-01-20T22:03:32.849+13:002020-01-20T22:03:32.849+13:00This must win some kind of prize for the longest w...This must win some kind of prize for the longest wargaming related post!
