For what was essentially a corps action the Prussians should have had 14 batteries, but we had three. Similarly the French should have been able to bring eight field batteries and two mitailleuse batteries to play, they had two and one respectively. It's not thst we don't have the figures, just that the game organiser didn't want them on the table.Mark Strachanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05988775093525037168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4202191777127653648.post-81412876307634248082017-02-21T16:01:14.245+13:002017-02-21T16:01:14.245+13:00Super looking game, Mark! A high percentage of the Crimean infantry also tended to wear the shako in the early stages but in 1870 the shako was abandoned before fighting started and the guards packed their bearskins before leaving Paris. The Crimean infantry can totally be used in 1859...and that is another project I would love to consider!Mark Strachanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05988775093525037168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4202191777127653648.post-9511175162299361422017-02-20T13:20:57.574+13:002017-02-20T13:20:57.574+13:00Great looking game Mark.
